Depends on the surgery ther dude! Some more details would be helpful but if it a minor surgery then yes early motion could help. If however you had a torn muscle or tendon repair then no you don't want to stretch it right away. If you are having surgery just ask your doc and listen to him and actually do whatever he or she says to do.
