Sooooo tired?

Question:
I am tired all the time. I get at between 6-8 hours of sleep each night, but I still nap during the day when my two year old and three month old are napping. I can't seem to stay awake and I have hardly any energy. Any suggestions?

Answers:
Lord Woman! You have a 3 month old and a two year old, you have every right to be bone tired!! That being said take care of your physical and emotional health some ideas:

1.Try to cut out caffiene as it will make you crash after your "high".

2. Work on eating a balanced meal, lean protiens, fruits, veggies and lots of water (not propel as someone had mentioned as it has lots of nasty fake sugars and chemicals which can give you headaches and nasty gastrointestinal stuff!)

3. Get some excersise (besides children chasing!), walking and pushing a stroller is great!

4. Take a multi vitamin (if you can)

5. Try to find 30 mins a day for some you time, meditate, take a hot bath, do some yoga, read a book, journal, take time to appreciate YOU as YOU not as the other million roles you take on.
Best of luck to you on getting peppy soon :)
You need to start eating healthier. Make sure you gets lots of fruits and veggies and drink stuff like Propel water.it gives you energy. You also need to make sure you are exercising too!! If you don`t already.start going outside and playing with your kids out there. Get some bouncy balls or a swing set!! You could also take them on walks..
maybe its your bed...I see commercials on TV about the sleep number bed and how it adjusts how hard or soft it is to help you sleep better. Also maybe you should have your thyroid checked. A friend of mine had same problems slept good but still wanted to nap during the day and Dr told her it was because her thyroid was acting up.
you can take vitamins. That helps
its not suprising you are tired with a two year old and a 3 month old. so dont beat yourself up about it. start with a good breakfast in the morning. all bran with some fruit. or kellogs. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it sets you up for the day giving you more concerntration and making you alert.
Get yourself checked out with the doctor too ( blood test, just to make sure that there is nothing wrong.) are you eating healthy or just grabbing food? and dont forget if you need help from family or friends...ask them...we all want to be the parents that can cope and have it sussed...but we are all human and we all need help from time to time. hope i might of helped abit. take care of yourself and nippers.
The answer is likely very simple, which is, your body is telling you that you need more than 6-8 hours of sleep per night. Having had two 2-year olds, I can tell you that they can be a LOT of work, plus you don't always get an uninterrupted night of sleep. Try to consistently go to bed at the same time, and never get less than 8-9 hours of sleep per night. Afetr two weeks of this, you should feel much livelier.
If this is relatively new for you, then you might want to visit a doctor. Sometimes extreme tiredness/fatigue is an indicator that something is wrong inside of you. It's best to remove all doubt.
Besides a multivitamin every day, four good energy boosters are chlorophyll, barley grass, wheat grass and Coenzyme Q10.
