My Irish Brother...
Go to shower.Turn your back and open the warm water ok.Aim the shower to the back of your neck for 15 minutes.Than turn the tab and maka it warmer than hot...
In this process move your shoulders to your back like rowing...
10 times do it 5 second wait than 10 more...Complate 100 times.Than close the shower.Dry your body. Do not stand in wind. 2 hours later your neck will be much better ok? :)
That can happen sometimes. I know it's probably seriously painful to move but crack it. It will hurt like hell but it always makes my neck feel better.
Or you could go to the docters and have them check it out.
Or you were working out and strained it and just need to rest it for awhile. You probably pulled a muscle.
that happened to me before.Go to a doctor
im good at massage if you want to try. :p
massage ur neck with any massage oil n put ur pillow under the sun for an hours...tis is one of the old people's treating way for ur problem
You use icy hot on your neck o.k.
If the guy named turkish's answer doesn't work, go to the doctor.
Hey,
You probably slept on it wrong and managed to get your muscles (and nerves) in a bundle. It will take a few days to relax. A great way to avoid issues like this is to:
1. Sleep in an area that does NOT have a breeze.
2. Make sure you get plenty of exercise
3. Drink plenty of Liquids.
4. Train yourself to sleep on your back (also better for your neck and face).
Best of luck using hot/cold compresses.
will wat i do is i dont ues pelowesto sleep so that is wat you can do
let your firends faimly mesuge your neck
Has your neck been exposed to cold throughout the night? Have you recently had any sudden movement of the head like a car accident? Do you spend most of the day with an abnormal or stressful position of the neck (e.g. head flexed forwards)?
other but unlikely possibilities are bursting of a small vessel in the brain or meningitis (specially if you also have headache).
In most of the above cases (except the latter two) using NSAIDS medications like Ibuprofen (Brufen, Nurofen) or Naproxen could help better than Tylenol. In persistent or prolonged cases you may benefit from physiotherapy.
If it's been going on for a few days and based on your age your doctor may request an x-ray from the neck to rule out osteoarthritis. My advice if you're not having fatigue, headache , fever or rash try one of the above medications and if it didn't work refer to your doctor.
pain will go away in a couple of days. stop being a woos.
