Does anyone else use 3 percent hydrogen peroxide drops to clean their ears?

Answers:
I do, but only a couple of times a month. I use it to remove excess earwax. If I do it too often it removes too much earwax and they become dry and itchy. It sounds like your ears don't produce a lot of earwax, it's a good thing to know. Sorry about your experience. I, too, had to learn the hard way and you are right, it can drive you crazy until the ears produce more wax.
Yes I did one time! I put some in my sisters ear and she put some in mine! I paid for it all night, my ears just about killed me! But it didn't bother my sister at all! I will never do that again!
After I get out of the pool I use a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol, which is the same formula for a product called Swimear. It removes any water build-up in my ear canal and keeps the canal clean too.
Until I seen your question, I thought my mother was the only person who did that. Her reason for doing that is because she has no ear wax in her ears to protect her from getting ear infections. It cleans her ears out, and keeps them from itching and becoming so dry on the insides.
