Health questions?

Question:
i feel tired all the time. i sleep more than 10 hours a night and have a very hard time waking up in the morning. if i have time i manage to fit in an hour nap and then i am still exhausted for the rest of the day. sometimes i feel like if i dont take that nap, i will still feel tired. im not sure if it is some health condition or what but i would like to find out what it is because i am becoming concerned. or if anyone has some treatments or solutions that would be great.

Answers:
Definitely go to the doctor and get a full blood workup, thyroid, blood sugar, enzymes, everything. Fatigue is a symptom of many conditions, and you should definitely get checked out. You do not have to feel that way. I know 3 different people who have had what you describe, and it was caused by a different disorder in each person. One had hypothyroidism, one depression, and one chronic fatigue syndrome. All 3 began to get better after getting medical attention.
Go to your doctor and have them check your thyroid.
i have the exact same problem..although i stopped taking the naps and that did make me feel a bit less tired
I agree that you should go to your doctor and have your thyroid checked because when it is all out of whack, you will feel just as you have described.
If you haven't done so, try getting a gym membership and go regularly. Get a friend to go with you if you need the motivation. Try eating more fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. I have no idea what the problem is, but healthy eating and exercise can go a long way to getting the body back to "normal".
