Disbelief in Doctors?

Question:
My grandma flew into town to visit me and the family, i am very close to my grandma and i love her to death. She is in great shape for her age, so we always play a little rough, like grappling but just for fun. But the day she flew into town, and arrived at our house, i immediately ran to my grandmother and gave her a big hug, and jokingly, i made the transition from a hug into a headlock. She was laughing so hard, and i think i put a little too much pressure on the tight headlock, and all of a sudden i hear this "crack", she immediately jumped back, and her chin and neck was twisted to such an extent that her chin was turned almost literally pass her shoulder. She looked in pain, but she kept saying "it's fine, it's fine, i'm okay," but she was saying this so i wouldn't feel guilty or worried. For the past five days. she has been on our guest bed and hasn't moved or eaten at all. i keep insisting her to see a doctor, but she doesn't believe in doctors. What should i do? Please Help!

She has dislocted one side of her mandible (jaw bone) with a possible fracture. She needs to see a maxilofascial surgeon right away. This can be repaired with out an external incision on her face and in a few weeks, she will have normal function if she hasn't waited too long. If she gets an infection, which she will, she will have to wait till that is treated and resolved before she can have the surgery which will delay evern further her healing time. Wrestle her down again if you have to, but get her to a doc.!
tell her to do it for you
My guess is she has weak bones and needs to see a doctor. As we age,our bones grow weaker.Get her to the Dr.
She should really see a doctor and if she still wont see a doctor then if you have enough money you should hire mabey anurse or have a doctor come to the house
Yeah right.
A Chiropracter is what she needs to see, and I bet she'd be more willing than to see a doctor.
I hope your parents are aware of this. I hope you learned that rough housing is not ok.
She needs to go to an emergency room and have this checked out. I usually don't tell anyone to go to the ER but this needs to be checked and she needs some relief from the pain. I don't care if she's young or old, if her bones are brittle or what - you can do serious damage to anyone, any age with that kind of crap.
Hopefully your mom can get her to go.
What are you the second coming of OJ? They made a movie about people like you, it was called Of Mice and Men! You should be locked away from normal society before you hurt someone else's grandparents or the babies!
How does she feel about chiropractors or napropaths?

You may have only rearranged things, not broken anything. Still, she needs professional help ASAP, and if you love her, you'll get it for her.
