Answers:
What your experiencing sounds like you have low blood sugar/ low blood pressure. It's probably not something serious, as you probably arent blacking out completely like I used to. When I don't eat regularly I get black spotted vision and feel very disoriented. I would suggest eating smaller meals and more often throughout the day. Careful when standing really fast, because you could end up falling right afterwards.
As for your sleep, you could be feeling too nervous to get comfortable for low blood sugar, and yes, it can affect your sleep. You might want to talk to a professional for additional advice if you believe your case might be seriously affecting your daily life. For now, I just try to take my daily dose of iron from iron pills because I am not fond of red meat.
They could be related.I know if you're low on your red count it can cause back stiffness especially in your lower back. Try taking some iron pills. It's amazing how much better you can feel.
go get blood tests to see how low your blood count if its really low then you might need to get tranfusions like me mine got so low i had to have 4 transfusions
A multivitamin, iron pills, or a diet high in iron and protein can help. But first see a doctor you could be suffering from anemia or some other serious problem.
Have you been diagnosed to find the origin of your symptoms? It may or may not be anemia; it could be orthostatic hypotension, which isn't necessarily related.
In the meantime, eat foods rich in iron, including red meat, eggs, spinach, chard, and whole grain bread. Cook acidic foods (like spaghetti sauce) in cast iron pans. Eat a food containing vitamin C to help absorb the iron in the foods that contain it, like tomatoes, potatoes, and lemon. Take a multivitamin with iron, too, and take it with OJ.
