Can having cold air blown on you all night cause muscle pain?

Question:
At night I leave my fan out continuously because it gets really overheated in there. My fans oscillator broke so it just stays in one position, which hits my back all night. I woke up this morning with a severe back ache, almost as if my head is to heavy for my body. :) Could the cold air be the culprit of my pain?

Answers:
The fan blowing on your body definitely causes muscle pain and stiffness. Move the position of the fan where it's pointing away from your body . It will still circulate the air and not disturb your muscles.

To help relieve the pain Take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. Soak for 30 minutes. The Epsom salts will help eliminate the lactic acid that forms on the muscles.

Massage an analgesic cream into the sore muscles.

Dehydration can cause severe pain in the muscles. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day.

500mg of calcium and magnesium, taken twice daily, can help with diminishing the pain.
YES, All night or Day!!
When your muscles are cold, they will contract to stay warm. If they are contracted for long periods of time, they will be sore afterwards.
Yea, I get that and a slight sore throat. I got a very cheap little fan and moved it father away. Cover with a sheet at least so that cold air is somewhat subdued. And get up and turn it off after a few hours.
Yes, Just turn it away from you a little. You'll still get the air circulating in there.
Yes. Get the oscillator of the fan fixed and your problem will go.
