If you had a minor cracked bone in your skull will it heal by itself?

Question:
Just emerged from concussion after four weeks.

I have got a recurring pain in one of the impact points. left temple after being kicked in the head. Is it best to leave it as nought can be done about it.

Answers:
Bottom line answer: yes. Bones use a process of recalcification to "heal" themselves. Note the quotes. For some, the "healing" makes them better; for some, not.

However...

If you have a head injury that was significant enough to crack your skull, and you have not gotten medical treatment for it, then how it heals might be the least of your worries. Suffering the consequences of the concussion for a month speaks volumes. Get it looked at.
yea... it will heal by itself. hope you have had the mandatory x-rays and ct scans to look for other damage.
i don't really know, but ask a doctor.
for me, im sure it will if it is only minor, just like what i got form falling on a cheering pyramid , 2nd level hihihihi. . . .
Yes, skull fractures heal by themselves within 6-8 weeks, unless it's severe with the pieces of the bone pushing into the brain.
