Why does it itch when you drink something really sweet?

I don't itch when I drink anything.
This doesn't occur with me at all. However my throat becomes uncomfortable and itchy when i eat certain things which I am allergic to.

Have you ever considered that you may be allergic to one/some of the ingredients in your drink. Its probably best to get an allergy test with your doctors, they do a "prick" kinda test nowadays :)
