What shall I do about a large blister on my hand?
Question:
Answers:
DO NOT pop the blister as this can invite infection.
Put a soothing Aloe cream on it..or vitamin E capsule...or both...or a good antibiotic cream or cortisone cream.
Wrapping it in a cool rag can help with the pain and swelling.
With any burn, always put either cold water, ice or aloe vera plant oil (THE best for burns!) on the burned area...(for MINOR burns only!).call your doctor if the area gets worse, developes red "finger" like areas coming from the site, begins to ooze (CAN mean infection), or generally does not get better in a day or so.
Bite it off...Or cut it off...Or pinch it until a piece of skin falls off and then tear the rest off. IT WILL BURN...
Or freeze it and it wont bother you as much
Pop it, squeeze the juice into a cup, bring said cup to work, put it in the coffee of that douchebag that pops his collar, then sleep with his girlfriend.
Well in my opinion, i would say you need to pop it, this will relieve the pressure and pain. Then what you need to do is put some kind of anti-bacterial cream on it such as neosporin to prevent an infection, put a band-aid over top of it and let it be for a night and see if it re-surfaces, in wich case do the same thing but with rubbing alcohol to dry it up.
First cut it and drain it. If you don't have a knife or razor blade you can sterilize and surgical gauze you can cover it with after wards--go see your doctor.
If you do have sterilized razor and surgical gauze, cut it, drain it and wrap it with the gauze and tape it.
Keep it clean.
Ibuprofen -- for pain
