My daughter got bit by a leach?

Question:
Her father took her to a lake and she somehow got a leach in her bathing suit. When they got home, she took her bathing suit off and he found a leach on her. It could have been stuck on her up to an hour. He pulled it off and cleaned up the area.. my question is:
Is she in any danger.? She only said it hurt on the car ride home (before he found it on her side) and hasn't made a fuss about it since. He said there is a little red bump where it was stuck, but it's not bleeding.

He has checked for others and it was only one.

Answers:
It is highly unlikely she would have contracted anything, leeches are sometimes used in cosmetic surgery for getting rid of swelling caused by excess blood, specially when people have had delicate eyelid surgery. A little salt on a leech will make it let go in a hurry. As I said it is most unlikely she would have caught anything from a leech, but a trip to the Dr if your worried would not hurt, just to put your mind at rest.
no there is no danger.actually leeches are used in hospitals as a way to stop blood clots.so it helped her more than it harmed her
leeches dont really bite they suck , they lock their rows of tiny teeth in to your skin she should be fine put a little anitbiotics and ice she should be fine she is no harm
