What makes pain more painful when you're cold?

Question:
Does it have to do with human nerves or something?

Answers:
yea the hypersensitive girl is right, cold excites the nerves in such a way that it causes pain
yeah i think when your cold it makes your nerves hypersensitive, but after a certain point you go numb.
When your cold, the blood is circulating as well. The pain should be less because numbness can occur.
