Does exercise keep you awake?

Question:
I plan on working out for about half an hour, as I usually do, but it's now 2:00am and I normally go to bed at 4:00am or 5:00am.

Would working out for half an hour right now keep me awake past 5:00am or so?

Answers:
People respond differently to exercise. Some are relaxed after a workout and it actually induces sleep. Some don't come down from the endorphin rush for awhile, but 2 hrs. should be more than enough.

When I'm able to, I keep your hours. 12-4 is my best creative time.
Why would you want to stay up that late anyway??
that's not healthy....
Yes, it increases adrenaline and keeps your muscles awake. It's like drinking coffee.
staying active does make you stay awake longer but after your done you should be more tired then you was.. just might be a little twitchy while your laying down
Well depends on what type of working out you plan on doing? like a quick run would most likely keep you awake, because of the endorphines.

Yoga would help you fall asleep.
You should not exercise that close to going to bed. It will tend to keep you awake. You should exercise about 5 to 7 hours before going to bed for the best sleep possible.
I really think working out makes me more tired!!
but for some people working out gives them a boost
but I am a little might bigger so I guess that may be why get a little bit tireder than others!
:S
This may sound ironic, but working out can help give you energy and help you get to sleep easier. Well I do not think working out at 2:00 a.m. will keep you awake past 5:00 a.m..
build a fire inside your room. then try to control it. a sure hit, your adrenaline will kick in
yes...and maybe you should think of changing your life style
to a more restful one..why keep those hours unless you work like 3rd shirt? you may not notice it now..but later in life you will wished you took better care of yourself..you got one chance..at this life..make the best of it!
