How many hours of sleep do you usually get each night?

Question:
It seems like during the day I am always sleepy. Maybe it is because I wake up at 5am and go to the gym for 1 1/2 hours. I usually get around 6 or 7 hours of sleep each night. Is that not enough?

Answers:
go to the gym in the afternoon or night. in the morning your coristol levels are highest. this might negate your workouts. your getting enough sleep. i get about the same amount.
I have had 6-7 hours for the last few years. Every now and then I get 10 just to catch up, maybe once every two weeks.
I would say the max should be 8 hours sleep, any more could lead to depression.
Normally you must sleep for 8 hours and your is a busy schedule and try to sleep more and take rest .
5 to 6 if I'm lucky>
For me about 7 hours
The amount of sleep needed depends on person to person. They say the average amount needed is 8 hours but apparently Margaret Thatcher used to survive quite happily on 3-4 hours a night! I get on average around 5-6 hours sleep and feel it's not enough for me. I have no trouble falling asleep, it's just that I wake up at around 5am every day - sometimes due to the ignorant people who slam doors in my block of flats as they leave for work at that time!

Why don't you try delaying going to the gym for an hour each morning and get some extra sleep? I think it would be worth it if you feel better for the rest of the day.
