I just got stung by a big black caterpillar...anything to worry about??

Question:
Except for the fact that it HURTS!!!!!

Answers:
no its nothin to worry about except for the fact that if you go to bed and wrap yourself in blankets too tight you might wake up the next morning with wings and antennas
and itchy as well isnt it?
Caterpillars generally don't have stingers... You might have snagged a bristly hair or something, though. Just wash the spot and use something like neosporin if you have it.
I would suggest you seek medical attention as soon as possible...put ice on the area to keep it localized. My mother was stung years ago (but by a furry white asp) and ended up in the hospital for several days...She was quite ill and could not keep any food down.
