Ive got a sharp shooting pain in my back, like, behind my shoulder blade, does anyone know what it is?

Question:
its been hurting for about 2 months now.

Answers:
i have the same thing on my left shoulder. i've consulted a doctor and they got me an appointment with a physical therapist. i believe i got it from using the mouse with the wrong posture and a less than perfect workstation ergonomics. mine's been hurting for over a year i only went in because the pain started to be unbearable.
It is a good reason to call a doctor.

It could be your heart, don't risk it.
a trapped nerve maybe
try taking ibuprofen
Yes, its a sharp shooting pain in your back, behind your shoulder blade.

Go and see a doctor!
sounds like a extended muscle from shoulder blade to spin under your scapula, is inflamed , gentle exercise on area is best method if hurts stop dont over do it,gentle does it if does not go see doctor may give you cortision injection last resort only
Try going to the Doctor, It could be a lung problem

Best of Luck hope you feel better soon
