I hold spondylolisthesis class 2 and can not even do my dishes what can I do?
Answers: Pace yourself.
Do as much as you can since the pain increases, consequently sit down. It helps me to set a timer (when I remember to) so that I stop after around 10 minutes, rest or do a different activity, and dance back to what I be doing.
Is there someone who can facilitate around the house? My mom has taken over my laundry for me which have helped to save the general aching levels somewhat lower, she also loads the dishwasher when she comes over. Every little bit helps.
Is Occupational analysis an option for you? I be in a multidisciplinary spine treatment program which included seeing my spine doc, a physical analyst, and a psychologist for chronic pain. My biggest face has be to pace myself, when I'm outlook good (5 out of 10 on the aching scale) I tend to try to 'catch up' near what I've not been competent to do. Then I end up near a major flare up, flat on my spinal column and useless.
