Is it better to take a cold or a hot shower to cool of your body in extreme heat?

Question:
I was wondering what helps you better...
so do you shower cold or hot if you want to cool of...!
I've heard some do cold some hot... would like your opinion on that!
Thank you!
Maybe you even have another good advice to cool of without an Air Condition...?

Answers:
DO NOT take a cold shower in extreme heat because it make your body go into shock, go from hot to warm then to cold but make sure that the warm shower has cooled you down first.
take a cool shower
Towards the cooler side would be more beneficial
Use a fan!
I heard that hot showers are actually best, because when exposed to something hot, your body will try to cool you.
Warm shower.

Sit in front of a fan - wet your feet... etc.
Allow your body to warm down to room temperature. Later take bath in luke warm water

I recomend you take a warm shower, because your body is ajusting to the new temp.and you have a feeling of cooling off when you finish your shower.Ican also recomend you to follow a program for your metabolism,so you will deal better with heat.
neither hot nor cold but normal water is better
I would say warm to hot. It's like drinking a cold drink when you are hot. That much cold liquid sends your body into sort of a state of shock and your body temperature will rise to try and warm up. The same would be the same in the shower. Cold water on the skin, your internal thermometer would do the same thing, raise itself because the outside temp.(on the skin) has dropped
Take a hot shower to open up your up your pores and a cold shower to close them. Linger in the cold shower to reduce your overall body temp and enjoy.
