Answers:
can't you just extract the tooth? it can't be expensive

and they can give you the prescription
take care
Don't go on taking pain-killers like this. It's not good. And every time you try a stronger one, you will get adapted to it, and you will need a stronger one and so on.
You have to go to the university clinic to get a prescription.
And you will have to see what is wrong with you, God help you.
If you just got the crown two months ago and the pain is still there you may have the problem with the gums. The same damn thing is happening to me. It has been 5 months and I am going back in 1 month for them to change the crowns. It is their responsibility to change them. If you are in pain and it has been less than one year they are supposed to change them. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM. YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM THEY SHOULD PAY FOR IT! KEEP GOING BACK! Get put on antibiotics since you may have an infection of the gums, you know when they put a crown on they drill the gum alot to make room for the crown this can cause an infection. They put me on amoxicillin and a mouth rinse and it felt alot better when I was on it. This may ultimately help you out. But, it has not gotten rid of it.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT TO BE REDONE! If you had a root canal the root is already dead, the pain is coming from the crown damaging the tendons in between the two crowns. Same thing is happening to me! It sucks! It's painful I know, I had to get a mouth guard to help me not grind my teeth because the crowns were set too night as well. UGH... I hate dentists!

Well I hope this helps some.
I would recommend checking with the city's health dept to see if they offer a free dental clinic so that you can have this looked at. I would recommend calling first thing in the a.m.

But also definitely check with the University's health clinic to see what the doctor there says as well.
