I want to have just my last pack of cigarette?

I'm going through the same thing. Don't do it! Cravings are perfectly normal. But after three days craving are technically not cravings anymore because the nicotine is all out of your system. It habit after that point or triggers that make you want to smoke. Triggers can be anything that you associate with smoking: car rides, drinking, eating certain foods, etc. Try chewing on something when you get a craving. It is proven that most 'cravings' only last 14 minutes so do something to keep you occupied for that amount of time and you should be golden!!
GOOD LUCK!! I hope this helps!
i have never smoked and dont intend to...but if u give in to buying just one box of ciggarettes then u will keep on going and going... so please dont!!
Don't do it!
Fight the temptation
If your gonna smoke, smoke grass
Don't.
It will only make you backtrack, making it in the long run worse. It's hard to quit cold turkey, so if you need that fix, buy the lowest level of nicotine in the nicoret gum... use it when your are feeling weak and over time you wont even need it anymore.
A huge part of the craving is the oral fixation, just being used to having something in your mouth. So if you can't afford the nicoret, just try some regular gum to maybe take your mind off of it.
I admire you for trying to quit, best of luck and be strong!
I smoked 2 to 3 packs per day for more than 43 years. I have tried everything. The patch, gum, etc. My doctor prescribed a medication called Chantix. I was able to quit after the first week. I used the medication for a month with no side effects. I'm now smoke free. Just an idea
I am 20 and I have been smoking since highschool. I use to smoke a pack a day. I binge every now and then, but I smoke a lot less. There were times where it seemed like I was on the verge of quitting, going 2 weeks without any cigarette. I use to tell myself "Okay this is my last 5 or my last pack blah blah blahh". My only advice to you is to just stop. I know i'm young still, the same as you, but I have smoked long enough to know that making ultimatums for yourself won't work. And i've smoked long enough to know that in the end, it's whether you really want to quit or not. Its a yes or no answer. If you haven't quit, all it means is that deep down you still want to smoke.
I'm sorry if this doesn't help, but i'm struggling aswell. Say no, and be strong about it. Also, think about the future; i've become a very apathetic person in not caring about my heatlh. Not everyone gets lung cancer via smoking, but why risk it? I'm not ready to die early.
But seeing how I still smoke some every now and then; call me a hypocrite.
Nicotine is the worst drug, in my opinion! The best thing you can do is just put them down and make a vow to yourself never to smoke them again! I know it is hard because your body craves the nicotine--but do it and you won't be sorry--I think smoking ages you--your skin is affected, I think--looks less healthy--not to mention your lungs and many other parts of your body that are affected negatively. Get rid of this addiction now before it takes control of yoou completely--take a tour of a lung cancer ward--talk to some of the folks there! It will enlighten you! Just say no! Even when you wanna say yes--for your own sake!
I have a yahoo website/group with extensive files, links etc. which can help answer just about any question you might have regarding smoking and quitting. Hang in there.

The first thing you require for quitting smoking is your will power and a solid resolve. You need to overcome 2 factors.
a) Withdrawal symptoms like mood change, anger, depression, insomnia and headaches.
b) beat the Nicotine craving.
Along with your will power use an external aid. There are a lot of quit smoking aids available like gums and patches etc. I recommend a natural remedy from my experience. I used a natural remedy 'Crave Rx'. It is effective and has no side effects.
