What do u think the dr. will prescribe for my bad back?

Question:
well i'm only 17 but i already have back problems. when i was 12 years old a kid thoght it would be "funny" to pull the chair out when i went to sit down...and i sat down...on a very hard surface, causing damage to my tail bone. i just layed down for three days and didn't want to move. well i never went to the dr for it but lately it has been getting worse. it's just my lower back and it hurts to sit in certain positions or lay straight on my back...or just be in certain positions at all, and i can litteraly pop my tail bone and i don't think that's normal. not my upper back...where my tail bone is. any ways i'm going to the dr what do u think they'll do about it

Answers:
It's hard to say, but possibly a strong NSAID like naproxen sodium or 800mg ibuprofen and possibly an opioid analgesic like hydrocodone or codeine mixed with acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Possibly something else. Definitely talk to a doc soon, though.
Probably x-rays and a thorough examination, which should have been done five years ago when it happened. Good luck
Your back pain might not have anything to do with the "chair" incident.
I had been in a bad car accident about twenty years ago.
My back was in a lot of pain.
The pain eventually went away.
About a couple of years ago, the discs in my back started to dislocate. A slipped disc can be quite painful and disabling.
I saw several types of doctors, including chiropractors.
The treatments helped the dislocations and the pain, but never stopped it from happening.
Since my current chiropractor (2 years now) discovered the real problem, I have not had my back go out again.
The problem was not the trauma from the car accident, but with my legs not being the exact same length.
One leg is 9mm shorter than the other one.
Solution - I got fitted with implants in my shoe which compensates for the difference in leg length.
No back problems since.

The point is not to be surprised if the problem has nothing to do with the chair. If it is, then measures can be taken to eliminate your problem.
however, it is more important to have the correct diagnosis than to have a correct theory about the cause of the problem.

GOOD LUCK with this.
