My daughter got her belly button pierced and she had no problems at all, You just need to make sure you get it done in a clean and sterile environment by somebody who is reputable and knows what they are doing. Check around and ask your friends who did theirs, go on the internet and read reviews of the places where you are thinking about getting yours done. I won't tell you it doesnt hurt but it's really not that bad. My daughter didnt have any problems at all but she took care of her's the way they told her to. Don't worry you wont die, believe me! Just please check out the place before you go in to have it done, and ask them if they have passed their state inspection with 100%. Just be safe and you will do fine! Good luck!!
im fifteen, mine piercing was perfectly fine until i got it ripped out in a mosh pit, so if you're going to get one, clean it well and often, and don't wear a dangly one to a concert

Relax it does'nt hurt a bit, i had mine done in 2000 its like getting your ears pierced,it's the best thing i've ever done. i am in my 40's so please make sure your parents okay it because you cant get it done without your parents or parent there with you because you're under age.
I've had mine done twice and it only hurts for a few seconds. It really does look cute, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. If/when you decide to go through with it, check around. Be certain that your piercer is experienced, reputable, and clean. Ask questions beforehand! They will explain exactly what they're going to do, and when you're finished, they'll tell you everything you need to know about keeping it clean. If you have any doubts at all, just give it some time to think about it. Decide if its something you really want done. Once its in there, you just have to be careful. Just like with earrings, there's always a chance they could be caught on something.
