Pins And Needles ?

Question:
What Are They ?
Do You Get Them ?
If So What Causes You To Get Them?
And How Do You Get Rid Of Them ?

Answers:
you can get them due to poor blood circulation and the sensation that you feel is the blood flooding back to the parts of your body that have been deprived of the usual quantity of blood! to stop them move that part of your body more to increase the blood flow!
the pickly feeling at the bottom of ur feet after u've been seating on them for some time. blood rushing. thus the feeling. they fade away gradually. we've all had them before dont we?
just normal
Basically all the above are right. But I get them if I walk or exercise my legs too much. If I do I elevate them, take an ibuprofen & rub ice up & down them.
I use them to sew with.
When I am doing a sewing project yes.
When I want to make something like a curtain, quilt or cushion cover.
Well, i wouldn't get rid of them until they went rusty or bent or snapped, but if I did I'd wrap them in paper before throwing!

LOL ;-)

No blood circulating to extremity (such as leg), stand up and move around and just endure the strange sensation unti it goes (15 mins maybe less).
i get rid of them by jumping up and down

u've got to get the blood moving

start moving the area that has pins and needles
they are caused by the function of nerves being hindered from working properly, because of bad posture , tumour, infection,malfunction,etc-go to doctor for diagnosis and treatment
The name is parasthesias. It is nerve dysfunction. It is only normal if you should put pressure on a nerve , say at the elbow, and the skin supplied by the nerve (in the hand and forearm) gets the pins and needles ("goes to sleep"). It is most common in neuroapthy. That is most commonly caused by diabetes. It can happen with bad circulation, but not always. It is also common with nerve root pressure from a ruptured disk. It can also be caused by metabolic abnormalities and b12 deficiency. The treatment of the problem depends on what is causing it. Diabetic neuropathy, and other forms of neuropathy, can be treated with anti-epileptics and other medications (using them off label). The best thing to do is see a doctor. Then it can be thouroghly investigated. It can have serious meaning and needs to be dealt with. If you have good circulation in your legs , you will have pulses at the ankle on the inside (medial) behind the bone.
pins n needles r the tingly feelin u get, that can hurt quite a bit sometimes, when not enough blood goes to a certain part of ur body, for instance arm or leg... u can get them by sitting on ur leg for too long, or laying on ur arm and such...
to get rid of them u just have to let the blood circulate back to ur body, i guess moving the it aroudn helps.
