Can you really stab your brain if you pick your nose to far?
Question:
Answers:
No but you can extract a monstrous bogey.
No, not unless your finger was ten inches long and had two jet engines attached to it...
No.
nose is connected directly to the brain - thats why if someone has there nose broken it can be alomst lethal - as the nose bone is pushed into the brain
Id say no, but only because im guessing you are over 10, otherwise yes it does... well you got to stop them somehow!
lmao.
Would imagine you'd have to have a pretty long finger!
No, but you can use a long rod to do so, though. Remember that the only separation between the nasal cavity and the brain is a thin bony structure called the cribiform plate and the olfactory bulb. Without the olfactory bulb, your nasal cavity is directly connected to the brain. That is why when you have a cold or a sinusitis, you have a headache.
No! There is no connection between the nasal canal and the brain. If you have a facial injury as in one from a car accident and your face was to get smashed, cerebrospinal fluid could leak out of your nose from a head fracture. Otherwise, there is no way.
Yes, depending on what you're picking your nose with. Something like a long metal rod, with enough force, can breach into the cranial cavity. If you're using a finger, no.
yes it is connected to the brain by just a thin membrane.
Hi! Being in the medical field, I think I can answer your question.
You can't really stab your brain with your finger or fingernail through nose picking., but there is the potential to break the delicate nasal membrane lining. This could set up an infection that could migrate to the brain via the laceration. This type of infection would be very difficult to treat and could even result in death.
I've never seen a case of this and I don't believe it's a very common condition, but the remote potential does exist.
Hope this helps. :-)
