Burnt Finger?
Question:
Answers:
run room temperature water over it (hot water will continue the burn-cold water will kill the skin cells and send it into shock) Use burn medicine as you already have and hold it above your heart as much as possible. The blood will flow away from the trama area and that will stop most of the throbbing and pain. Try it if i'm not too late.
Run it under a cold tap, that's about it. My condolences to your finger ;)
apply cheese on the burnt part and also apply neosporin ointment
well
use cold compresses for ya finger
and put ice on it .. over and over again
and you should try some cream or some spray 4 burnin' stuff..
i don't know..
if it doesen't work .. cut ya finger down :))):D
All you can do is take aspirin or ibuprofin (these are anti- inflammatory) and sit and watch tv or something while holding your finger in a bowl of real cold water for about an hour. If the finger blisters and looks nasty, you should go to a doctor so they can possibly pop the blisters and put a sterile dressing on your finger. And DO NOT put ice on your finger. Ice put directly on your skin can damage your finger even more.
aloe vera gel or straight from the plant.
use a cool rag on your finger for the time being and medication for burns also. you might need some over the counter pain reliever (tylenol, motrin, etc.) to help ease tyour discomfort. as long as the burn is not serious, you should feel some relief soon. make sure to get it looked at by a doctor, etc. if it continues to seriously hurt or does not heal.
** and I agree with the other post-- do not put ice on it, as you can seriously damage the skin. a cool rag or water is sufficient**
condolence means, like i am sorry, something along those lines, also cold water works, do not touch any blisters, it ruins the skin, also tylenol or advil helps keep the pain away
DO NOT put cheese or butter or something stupid like that on it. cool running water is the best, you CAN use ice, but you need to wrap it in a damp towel or washcloth first. Take some Ibuprofin, it's an anti inflamitory if you have blisters that means it's a partial thickness burn, 2nd degree, so have a doctor look at it. He may give you some antibiotics to prevent infection. Good luck, it's gonna hurt for at least a week.
The problem with using ice is that all of that cold is concentrated across a single point. If you run it under cold water Or even better hold it in a tub of cold water, then you can have the cold touchning all points in the vicinity of the burn simultaneously.
