I know what you are going through I have a fearful thought of lung embolisms. The root canal pain does radiate through out the whole entire face. I would say get some anxiety meds they work wonders I take xanax it helps when I just cant get those thoughts out of my head. Feel free to add me if you wan to talk, I know how you feel it sucks.
Maybe you should go to the doctors and see what they say.
You probably have a sinus infection ... your 'symptoms' both 'point to' your upper sinuses ... go to a GOOD doctor for an exam and the proper medication. See, sometimes it's 'good' to be 'paranoid' ... the sooner you get treatment the better off you'll be ...
There is something called deferred pain. Your upper tooth can case a pain that seems to be in a different place. If there is no family history of aneurysms you do not need to worry too much. Check your blood pressure.
It sounds as though your tooth is causing your problems. Many people don't realize how VERY close the roots of the upper molars are to the sinuses in the face. If the teeth and surrounding tissue have problems, then the pain is often going to be "referred" to the sinus. I would strongly suggest getting the root canal done as soon as possible; it sounds as though there's a good possibility that you have some infection with the tooth, and that is NOT something that you want spreading!!
All these answers look good- you might also consider seeing an optometrist.
