Gall Bladder Pain Recurrence?

Question:
I had my gall bladder out in Feb., with no complications or side-effects. Then within the last couple of weeks I have been getting the same pains I was having when it was discovered that I had stones.
Any ideas of what this is? Why did it take so long for the pains to come back if it's just residual? Could it be a missed stone?

if the gall bladder was removed, there is no place for the stone to have come from, so I doubt it is that. More likely culprit is your diet. Did you have the pain after eating a high fat meal or treat?
You can still form gallstones in your bile duct system after your GB is removed. This is a little uncommon, but not unheard of. Ulcer pain often feels like GB pain. You might try Prilosec OTC. Your best bet is to see your doctor - especially if your pain persists after you block your stomach acid (e.g. with Prilosec)
