Should I go to the Doctor?
Question:
Now two days later, my arms are very sore. That doesn't worry me. However, on my back (about 1 inch below my bra strap) just to the right of my spine is swollen and it hurts. It doesn't feel bruised but it is tender to the touch. It hurts mostly when I'm sleeping. The pain goes from the swollen spot down my spine to my hip. Also, when I make certain movements, like bending, it hurts. What could it be? Should I go to the doctor to have it checked, or will it go away?
*Please no comments about how I shouldn't be fighting, Trust me I am not the fighting type*
Answers:
Well you could try to lie down on a heating pad or an ice pack for 20 minute intervals a few times a day and see if that helps bring the swelling down and ease your pain. Also for pain you could take a little bit of motrin or tylenol.
However, being that it is your spine area I recommend seeing a doctor. You don't want it to be something serious and just let it go.
Hope this helps. Good Luck! :-)
I hope you kicked some *ss! It sounds like you have pulled some muscles pretty bad. Use heat then cold til the swelling goes down. When you can stand it, exercise your back. It will strengthen the muscles
see your doc just to make sure.
Yeah sounds like sore muscles or strain... get some rest and use heating pads... give it a couple days and if not better, go to the dr.
Just to be on the safe side, you should see a doctor.
if i were you, i would definetly go to the doctor... just to be safe!
First of all...
You should be thankful the man stopped you from fighting. You could have ended up in juvenile hall for assault and battery or even assault with intent to do great harm. You were blessed.
Second...
Have you shown this to Mom and Dad? They will be able to discern if it is bad enough to need medical attention. If you do go to the doctor, the police will become involved. Unfortunately this man might also be charged with assault which is a crock because it was all you girls faults.
