Pain near pelvic and lower abdomen?

Question:
I am having internal pain near the pelvic and lower abdomen on the left side. Anybody know which organ(s) it could be? I'm getting it checked it in the morning, but I am just curious to what it could be. I know for a fact that it is an organ and not a muscle, and it feels better after going to the restroom.

Answers:
I just went through this scenario myself and Doc said it could be a Urinary Tract Infection or could be Kidney Stones. Tests showed no infections of Urine nor Bladder and I did not have any Kidney Stones. I was also sufferring from intermittent constipation and he said that can cause pain in that area also. When you see the doc let him know all your symptoms so he can make a good diagnosis of your symptoms and decide what tests he should do.

My doctor did more tests than usual because I suffer from many ailments and take many medications. He had to rule out any possible kidney malfuntion. Your case may be just an infection. Good luck and remember to ask the doctor as many questions as you can.
sounds like a hernia to me your intestines are right there
Sounds to me like a urinary track infection, or even a kidney infection. (bladder or kidney) It tends to hurt on the left side of the body. They will give you some antibiotics, but do drink LOTS of water!!
It could be a sexually transmitted disease called PID. Pelvic Inflammitory Disease. Which is where a disease such as clymidia or gonnerrea goes undetected for a long period of time and it works its way up (so to speak) into your pelvic area. Some symptoms are pain in the lower abdomain and pelvic area, also burning around you pelvic and sometimes your hip area. Or it could be something minor. Just get checked out to be sure.
if u are a man, it could be ur bladder or ur prostate, if u are a woman, it could be ur uterus, or ur ovaries , also ur bladder...
Lower, left-sided pain...1st guess would be diverticulosis/diverticulits of the descending or sigmoid colon (large intestine). The pain can be mild to severe and is sometimes described as "left-sided appendicitis".

Good luck with your appointment!
if you are a female it could be an ovarian cyst
