First day after Rhinoplasty.?

Question:
For those of you who have had Rhinoplasty surgery before, what did you do to reduce swelling around the eyes, nose, etc?
thanks.

Answers:
When my husband had rhinoplasty, I bought an ice pack that was wrapped in fabric and placed them over his eyes and cheeks. If you put directly on your nose, it will be painful since it's sensitive. You could also dip some towels in ice water and place them on your face every 15 minutes. Keep a bowl of ice water next to you. That will reduce the swelling and help with the pain. Also get lots of rest and don't eat anything too salty. The salt will make you swell more and too much activity will slow your healing. Hope that helps.
Suck it up! It is better to look good than to feel good dahling.
