Question:
I am a 15 year old girl.I have horrible popping of my neck.It is really loud.If the room is quiet that I am in everyone can hear it.My neck will hurt right before it pops then I try not to pop it but then when I turn my neck it pops.When it pops it hurts a whole bunch.Then I turn my neck the other way and it pops louder.I don't know what is causing this.Many people have asked me if there is other pain that I get when my neck pops.And nothing else hurts.Does anyone know what I should do.My mom just says that it is just how my neck is but I don't think so because my neck didn't do this until I was about 13 years old.Please give me advice on what to do because I don't want my neck to pop and it pops the wrong way and I get seriously injured.My mom doesn't think that something is wrong.I volunteer at a hospital and I have told them about this and no one can tell me what I should do.I don't know what to do.please email me at clownaaround1@gmail.com if you have any really good advice.Katelyn

boy i don't want to scare you but i had that,and now I'm sitting with only 30%arm movement,40% left leg movment, but my discs from c2 to c6 all started comming out pushing my spinal cord giving me pain pins needles in arms i had 2 operations all ready none have worked even spinal fusion plate n screws . and told last week they have to do it all again . just be real carefull get your mom dad to take you 4 a mri scan this will show everything in you neck good luck your young so get it looked at ,dont want to see you like me if you have what i have .
