When getting the upper part of your ear pierced??

Should you pierce both sides or is it okay to only pierce one side? Thanks!

Answers:
I did one side, looked good that way, loved it... Then it got infected, i had it removed and after a few months tried it on the other side... I totally prefer one side, I think it looks much better than both.. (But then again, I don't always like to be even :) )

Are you talking about getting your cartiladge pierced? Cuz I have mine done and I only have 1 side done. I personally like it that way. I only wanted the 1 side done. Depends on what you think looks better.
