Sunburn relief?

Here in South Florida we see a lot of sunburn. Best thing is to apply sunscreen b/f going out in the sun, then every hour or so afterwards. Once you're burned- like it sounds you are I've found that aloe helps the best. Lots of companies sell aloe products that also have lidocaine (I believe) that helps with the pain. Now that you're burned, either cover-up or stay out of the sun- it can get real ugly to get sunburn on top of sunburn. Oh- and think cool thoughts!
Besides using Aloe, anything with Lidocaine (get it at drugstores) There is a spray and I am sorry I forgot the name of it, but it helps with the sunburn and pain. You could go to the pharmacist at any drugstore and ask them. Good luck!
It may sound strange, but plain old vinegar takes away the pain. The smell evaporates.
Dermoplast is a name of a spray that takes the sting away. also Noxzema skin cream for your face helps with sunburns. It's cooling effect really helps.
It's called Solarcaine. You can get it nearly anywhere...drugstore, retail mass merchandiser (Wal-Mart, etc). It sprays cold and the lidocaine helps to ease the pain. It's the best sunburn relief I've ever found!
Vaseline or aloe vera. Also taking a cold shower may help. If you put vaseline on right away even if you aren't in any pain it can lessen flaking by keeping the area moist.
Try to soak in a cold to medium hot water bath with about a cup of vinegar.
