Muscle spasms in my back?

Question:
Its near the middle of my back and I have had 2 in the last couple minutes. They hurt sooo bad! But only last about 5 seconds.

Well I use to have them about 6 months ago, and they stopped but just now they are starting AGAIN! I cannot go through this pain again. I forgot what I did when I use to happen.
What should I do to relieve the pain and maybe even stop it! Any thing will be useful.
I talked to my mom and since they just started today she won't take me to the doctors for like another month if it still hurts like it does now, which is really bad.

Also I am 14 years old, pretty athletic and use to have RND(reflex nuerovascular dystrophy).

Please Help I am DESPERATE!!

Thank you

Answers:
I worked as a CNA before med school and had back spasms a couple times. Muscle relaxants did the trick. I used Norflex (orphenedrine) because the flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) they prescribed me the first time didn't work. If you can't see the doctor some warm packs and rest are your best bets along with some ibuprofen.
Have you tried relaxing in a hot bath?
It could be a pulled muscle...since you are active there may be a spot in your back that you have pulled is spasaming which is causing the pain. I would suggest trying to rest, ice your back, take ibpforen (if possible). If it doesn't get any better within a week or so you should see a doctor. I know that I keep having a muscle in my back that I keep pulling which causes it to be super painful and I've had to have lots of rest over it. One time I actually had to go tot he doctor to get muscle relaxers (I can't remember what it was called, but it was pretty strong because I was knocked out for a few days while I had to take it) so that the muslces would calm down and heal, and also stop pinching a nerve. I hope that it gets better!
