Contrast baths for injuries?

Question:
I have to do contrast baths on an old injury and I am forgetting do I start with the hot water or the cold water?

Answers:
If it is an old injury you should be OK to start either way. The problem with heat is that it can increase swelling which could be a bad thing with a new injury. So don't worry one way or the other. The contrast is the important part, not which one comes first in your case.
