Standaed human blood pressure?
Question:
Answers:
Adult I take it..figure 90-100 plus age up to sy 40 or 50 for the systolic (top number. So for a 30 y/o 120-130. 60-80 for a great lower (diastolic) number but even up to 90. A higher diastolic is more concern than a higher systolic.
120/80
For an adult: 120/80...give or take a few points. The top number should not get above 140 and the bottom number should not go above 90. Any numbers higher than 140/90 and you could be having high blood pressure.
i'm assuming you mean normal range for blood pressure
ideal reading is 120/80 but the range that dr's will accept as normal is 120-140 for systolic (the top number and your heart at work) and 60-80 for diastolic (the bottom number and your heart at rest).
keep in mind that not everyone reads the same. like me for example-my reading is normally 90/70 and for me that's normal b/c i'm 5"1 and 98 lbs. on a healthy 6"2 man-that reading would be very low and concerning.
your dr will know what you normally run at and what's healthy for you.
hope this helps
