IS it NORAML to b Constipated ALL the time?

Question:
ok I only use the bathroom (bm) once a week or every other week... I tried taking a lot of constipation stuff laxative and many other things it works for the first time and when I take it a gain it does not work... any advice?!!

Answers:
it can be normal for some people to be constipated...by the way...how old are you anyway?

may I suggest the following:
1) as what others have told you..eat a lot of fiber-rich food (vegetables, fruits)
2) cut down on meat intake
3) drink a lot of water (assuming you dont have any disease that would prevent you from doing so)--about 1/2 -1 liter each time you eat and about 1/2-1 liter in between meals
4) cut down on the laxatives--chronic laxative intake will worsen your constipation as your large intestine gets used to the irritation caused by laxatives
5) get enough sleep- the hypersympathetic state of sleeplessness and stress decreases large intestine motility
6) have a comprehensive checkup by your doctor--this may include a colonoscopy just to rule out any organic problems in your large intestine.

i hope this helps
Eat more fiber.
You need to see a doctor. One of the questions he will ask is how much water are you drinking a day. You should have 8 8oz glasses of water a day. You can tell if you are dehydrated if your urine has a strong odor or dark yellow color. You urine should look clear. But please make that appointment to see the doctor.
Have you gone to the doctor??
no. eat more fiber.
first, no it is not normal. The cure is Metamucil. it is a fibrous supplement not a laxative. then you need to consider your diet because that could be the problem. also a visit to the doctor couldnt hurt.
