You have been overdoing your exercise routine a bit too much. Dont stop altogether but reduce the stretches. Rest your back on a firm matress. Dont sleep on a foam matress. Take a break and learn to relax your back. There are a few exercises to relax the lumbar area of your back. The lower 5 vertebrae comprise the lumbar region. Any strain on this area results in a variety of problems. Lumbago and sciatica are the main ailments. Compressed discs are also another problem. So dont overdo your exercises and dont lift weights for some time. You will be fine.
Dont take any pain killers.
stretch, take a few days off untill it feels better. Strengthen your core muscles to prevent this from happening. (sit ups is for toning) very little strength. Do full core exercies (weighted decline situps, russian twists) Alot of other twisting exercises. Back braces are for some people, I only use them with massive weight.
make sure you are wearing a back brace while doing the squats. dont wear one all the time tho as this will allow your muscles that stablize you to get weak and make this problem worse. lower back muscle problems are most often caused by weak abdominal muscles. do more situps. if its spinal then stop doing squats and go see your doctor. if not, try doing leg presses until the pain goes away. that will give you support on the back and not put so much weight on your spine.
