i have guardianship of a 15 yr old boy that has recently been attending football practice regularly. he has very sore and tender feet and ankles, almost to the point where he cant walk. what will work to restore the muscles. I was also told that pottasium and ice baths work but what worked for you i need to fix this problem asap he will not quite football.

after every foot ball practice get time to sit in a bathtub full of icewater. for as long as he can take it. (don't let him turn blue tho) then when he feels sore get him to take a hot bath.
cold first, then hot.
Ok there is a cream called "VOLTARINE",use that and the pains will be gone in a jiff.
