Why does my back hurt?
Question:
ps;am 14 years old
Answers:
Typically at your age, posture is a big factor. I know it sounds boring, but make sure you are sitting correctly! Keep upright and put a rolled up towel between you and the chair at belt level to give you some support.
Use ice - not heat. If the muscles are painful then use ice. Only use for about 10 minutes at a time. If the muscles feel stiff, use heat.
Good luck!
i dont know why your back hurts. did you pull a muscle in your back? it's mostly likely that you did.
I'm 14 too and i had the same problem, its probabley cuz u pulled a muscle ( Thats why mines hurt), the best thing u can do is to take it easy and put some pain reliving balm on it.
You know that happened to me. I've found out that a lot of the pain is from my posture. The best way to have good posture is to pretend you have a pole down the back of your head through your spine to the very tip of your tailbone.Open your shoulders like you are about to fly (lol.) Tight pectoralis major (pecs) muscles cause a lot of back pain. Stretch these by putting your arms on either side of a doorway and leaning through it. Be careful not to arch your back however, because that is not helpful. Hope this helps!
I'm 16 years old. I had the same thing and what shocked me that you have the very same thing "not acute but annoying". I went to nearly 4 doctors and contacted several others. They diagnosed me with Scoliosis (type scoliosis in wikipedia) and I also have Kyphosis (type it also). Doctors thought the pain was because of those two. I went to a 5th doctor who was recommended by several people who told me that my case is mild and I seriously NEED TO FIX MY POSTURE. Yes, posture is the problem.

maybe it is due to prolonged sitting down in a position...
