I got my cartalage peirced last week ,for the first time . It still hurts whenever i have to clean it there is a sharp pain ,and all the time it feel numb . Is this normal ? how long will this last ? ,and what can i do to stop the pain ? please help me

It is normal and will hurt for about a week, week and a half. It's not an easy piercing.
I'm sure it's not normal. It may be an infection. Ask a doctor or the place where you got your piercing, and use some kind of disinfectant that's safe for the ear. Eventually, it should go away.
