3 weeks my boss wouldnt let me off So i acted sick and went to Hawii
couple of weeks, - paid!!

5 working days. i was sick of my boss who was leaving and i took a whole week sick leave until she left.. worked like a charm! she was spiteful, mean and a NASTY piece of work. Good riddens i say =)
i also got paid for it

a day lol my boss always says the next day why do you allways just take one day i said ok next time ill take 2
I actually was sick, for 2 months. I was in hospital for 2 weeks, and then had gall bladder surgery, and was recovering from pancreatitis. I don't think my employer believed me though, even though I had sick lines to prove it.

Not sure it can be classed as 'pullin a sicky' but I was off sick from Oct 05 to December 06 when I had three tumours.. and operations.etc...
I think I'd have been ok really in the march/april.. But, I was quite happy drifting away on my meds and watching dvd's whilst getting paid!!
I felt like the world owed me a favour!! (so spoilt!)
A day, i felt so guilty, i know it sounds weak but i can't bear to fake it!
in the 35 years working since I left school - apart from the few years off to raise my kids - I have never taken a sickie, I have had 4 days off for various funerals in 35 years.
