How to stop a burning hand?
Question:
Answers:
Keep using cool water- stop using ice, it will cause frostbite! If it covers your whole hand, seems to be swelling, or has any blisters/black marks/or white marks, you need to go to the ER. DO NOT use lotions, butter, neosporin, creams, etc for burns!!! They retain the heat and make the burn worse! You may want to pop a few Tylenols or ibuprofens in the meantime.
If you did this at work, your employer will have insurance, so this shouldn't be an out-of-pocket too.

stick your hand in vinegar and let it soak for a few minutes...then stick it in some cold milk...if it is a very serious burn, you may need a dr to give you something for the pain until it partially heals...good luck...burns are no fun at all!
