Sore muscles?

Question:
Two days ago, I rode a wave runner and now all of the muscles in my body are really sore. Especially my back, arms (biceps and triceps), and my legs. Does anyone know what I can do to make the soreness go away quicker? Also, will stretching help or hurt the situation?

Answers:
stretching, massaging.

you want the muscles in your body to be active, but in a low intensity way.
maybe do some yoga poses.
dont just sit around doing nothing on the couch or whatever because your muscles will stifen up
and to prevent soreness all over...
next time take five or ten mintutes each morning/night when you take a shower to stretch you whole body.
soak in water..it would probably make it hurt worse than what it does now
yeah u should probably put muscle rub or bengay on them and rest for a little while. stretching will probably help but it could hurt if you do it too much so yeah. playing sports helps my soreness go away so go play a sport for a little bit, not a lot though. that will make you even more sore.
okay. soreness is like a second way of life for me..lol. stretching makes it wayy better, it may hurt while you're doing it but after you stretch if feels better, maybe even good in a way. and soak in a hot (as hot as you can stand) bath, or cold one. also massaging the parts of your body that hurt helps lots too.
good luck,
ashlyn.
For sore muscles, soak yourself in warm/hot water while taking a bath. Most of the time it helps. Streching als o helps for the body in loosing your musles
