I have a pinching pain through my neck and shoulder from a fallen shower head. What should I do?

Question:
A massaging shower head fell onto my shoulder. I now have a pinching and aching pain down my neck shoulder and arm. I don't have time to go to a physician as I'm going out of town. I'm taking tylenol. What else can I do to ease the pain?

Answers:
Tiger balm, heating pad, paracetamol. Try some ibuprofen as it is good for inflammation. You've probably knocked a nerve or enraged a muscle around one. It should settle with ibuprofen and if it doesn't, get seen as soon as time allows.
A heating pad will work well.
take ibuprofen. it will reduce the swelling on the pinched nerve.
Im sure its just sore. Maybe its a pinched nerve. Take the tylenol for pain and make sure to massage it everyday, to loosen up the tension. If it still hurts, it can just be bruised.
apply some cold compress on the affected area. it can alleviate the pain.
