Also, it hurts like HECK, how do I ease the pain?

you probably strained it whilst keeping your mouth open [for the filling to take place]. try taking a mild painkiller, if after a few days it still hurts, go to a doctor.

try an oral pain killer like anbusol, if it is not the tooth you'll notice and be able to tell where the pain is coming from.
