soaking your foot in epsom salts will reduce the swelling, and hydrocortisone cream will decrease the local swelling around the bites. I'd also recommend some benadryl. (25-50mg). Obviously, you want to stay off your foot. Try aleve or ibuprofen if you experience much pain. Hope you feel better soon...what a bummer!
go see a doctor. They will deflate your foot for you.
go to the doctor.very soon.
To my understanding, fire ants are toxic to humans. So you probably need to get an antedote for it, or just wait it out to see if the swelling goes down after a few days or so. Call your local poison control center to see if they can help you with the question of whether they are deadly or not. They can also give you the remedy. You can use a poultice to draw out the venom of the ants and to heal it too. Dry mustard is good, put it in a cheese cloth type material and add a little flour and water to make a paste, then put it in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds just to heat it up a bit, apply to the wound. It will be hot but it will draw out the poison and make it feel a lot better after a while. Good luck and God Bless.
If it was me, I would put some ice on it to relieve pain and swelling. Then I would put some topical benedryl or hydrocortisone on it (depends how swollen it was) and if I developed anything else, like hives all over or difficulty in breathing, I would call doctor or EMS.
