My Eye gets red when i wear my overnight contacts.?
Question:

Yes. It didn´t happen to me but it happened to my brother. He slept in his contact and woke up with both eyes red. He hasn´t done that since. Apparently those contacts were not made to be slept in.
He used eye drop to take away the redness and wore glasses for 2 days. Avoid to sleep in them the more you can, I guess there´s nothing you could do other than that. Oh and ask your doctor what kind of contacts you have
This happens to me all the time, I think that they mean to say you "can" sleep in your contacts (I have O2 Optix) but I don't think they really mean it is great for your eyes. I only sleep in mine when I can't take them out for some reason, and when I do, I generally wear my glasses the next day. But I'm sorry, I don't really know how to improve it. My best advice is don't sleep in them. Good luck!
Use some Visine, and leave the contacts out for a week to give your eyes a chance to recover. And don't sleep in your contacts anymore.
I used to wear extended wear contacts, but as I got older my eyes couldn't tolerate them . I think developing allergies had an affect also. I switched to daily wear disposable contacts and don't have any problems.
You may have a lens that is old and bacteria has accumulated, or even scratched your cornea. Take the lens out and leave it out so your eye can heal. (wear glasses for a couple days if you have them). Visit your eye doctor, he may need to give you some perscription eye drops to heal your eye. The redness and watering are warning signs. Do not put the contacts back in and do go to the eye doctor.
