What kind of headache is this?

I don't oftebn get headaches. Maybe once every couple monthes. Since monday I have had a headache on a off. It is on the right side of my head mostly, kind of behind my eye. And it's weird it dones't bug me most of the time, if I put my head down , upside down, tilt it or go from laying down to sitting up, or jerky movements, it really hurts but if I just sat here straight all day it doesn't. I feel it when I take steps too. What kind of headache is this? It's freaking me out. I went to bed last night and I woke up this morning still with this stupid headache!

Well, a visit to a doctor would be a really good idea, but for the meantime, you can try a couple of things.

Take acetaminophen (tylenol) and see if that relieves your headache. If it doesn't, try Ibuprophen (Advil). If one of them works, that will narrow down the cause of the headaches, stress or infllammation.

If neither works, chances are you have a type of migraine, often this will cause pain behind an eye and is a result from excess cerebral fluid, which could have a number of different causes. To find out, you need a doctor to run some tests.

Might be sinus congestion. I have the same problem. Don't worry about it just have your sinuses checked and hopefully it will go away. I've had it chronically for about two years and if becomes chronic it cannot be cured. It can sometimes make me dizzy.
